Most families have heirlooms but what immigrants bring from their homeland, and pass down through generations are more than just cherished tokens—these objects are bridges to a past, to a former self that forms the basis on which immigrants build their present identities. 

Meet the immigrants, artists and citizens sharing their stories, art & cultures in this exhibit. Enjoy their musical performances on Sat 5/17, 7-9pm and on Sun 5/18, 5-7pm attend “Knot United” an installation performance by 2 collaborating artists examining their status in transition caught in a web of entanglements.

Use the gallery as an OPEN WORKSPACE; bring your art (make new work or continue projects from previous weeks).  Every session begins with a DEMO provided by a lead artist (an Agitator Member or guest artist) that will focus on a specific art material or process. Then work on your art, ask questions, give & receive feedback. This is a great opportunity to workshop your ideas and get input as you develop existing or new pieces.
