Face Value brings together diverse Chicago-based multi-generational artists using portraiture to examine the human condition as a deep archive of history, resilience, and personal truth. Featuring artists from across the city, we intentionally mixed artists of all ages and abilities, focusing on the universal impulse to see and be seen.

BODY ANIMATION WORKSHOP

D.I.Y. Workshop :: Sat. Sept 27 / 1:00 - 4:00pm

Create your own animated short film. Whether you are new to animation or are a different kind of movement artist, this workshop will make animating an accessible process to all. The gallery will provide a number of phone tripods for participants and we will shoot our animated films with a free app. If you have your own tripod or rig you are encouraged to bring that.
