Performances: Reflections exhibition
Tonight see performers share music, monologues, storytelling and more. In this group exhibition artists explore the complexities of our relationships with the holidays. The artists investigate themes such as family traditions and rituals; cultural heritage and identity; commercialism and consumerism; nostalgia and memory; spirituality and faith; social isolation and loneliness; and a host of other perspectives about the impact of the holidays.
EXHIBITION runs from December 13 through 21

Please join us for a WORKSHOP and DISCUSSION exploring the unique benefits of using the creative process to prepare for and process the often ineffable psychedelic experience. In this workshop, an art therapist and a participant in ketamine assisted therapy will share their experience and insights gained in their work together. This unique offering showcases the profoundly healing benefits of creative expression as we watch the participant’s healing journey unfold as told through the story of her art. There will be an opportunity for sharing and discussion of attendees' experiences and wisdom using art in this way. Finally, we will share a simple and accessible art directive that can be useful for preparation or integration. This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about the personal impact of psychedelic therapy, those interested in the healing arts, therapists, or artists. The exhibition Void Oblation invites us to gaze inward into the confusion, ambivalence, and discord we hide and reveal in the shadow parts of ourselves through the lens of the psychedelic experience. Closing: Timing Birds by Eleftheria Lialios
This body of work began with hopes of making art from my visual encounters with cross-species friends seen through my kitchen window at the height of the pandemic in March 2020. Continuing my lifelong interest in visual analysis documentation of species-specific behaviors with animals, the bird work developed from stills to prints, to 3-D sculpture in the form of Bird boxes, to long horizontal panel frames of birds in flight. The birds interact with each other, paying attention to their survival as they move in our atmosphere, crucial to our ecosystem.
EXHIBITION runs from November 2 through 22

THIRTEEN + THIRTEEN
In 2023 Spencer Hutchinson and Alex Wilson collaborated on a series of artworks. Each artist started with a set of paper to which a base layer was applied. The two then exchanged sets and applied an over layer to finish. They then went through a process to select final works which were divided into two sets of thirteen pieces each. The sets, titled CHOICE and COMPROMISE, make up the total work of THIRTEEN + THIRTEEN.
Tragically, Spencer died unexpectedly on April 21, 2024. This exhibition of jointly and individually created artworks is now also a memorial to his artistry and honors his memory. Please join us in celebrating Spencer and Alex’s artistic work.

Sponsored by Rabbitfoot Puppetry & Agitator Gallery
Bring rice, beans, a flat iron, and your insecurities about the future to this combination performance piece and collaborative workshop. We will learn about how to be afraid responsibly, how to pack food for long term storage, and who we can count on when we need them. This is the first installment of a serial piece bringing together applicable instruction, community, and the arts. Anna Poeht (@annanotha1) hosts the event.
