The artists in this group exhibition explore the complexities of our relationships with the holidays. Demonstrating the emotional, cultural, and personal significance of holiday rituals amplifies many of the ways these experiences can nurture & strengthen or harm & hinder human connections. The artists investigate themes such as family traditions and rituals; cultural heritage and identity; commercialism and consumerism; nostalgia and memory; spirituality and faith; social isolation and loneliness; and a host of other perspectives about the impact of the holidays.
