FEB 2 – DEMO on MAT CUTTING & FRAMING with Andrea Kasparyk

Meet-up with other members of the artistic community at Agitator. You can bring your own supplies and creative projects to work on, or you are welcome to participate in the structured activity which will include an artist demo at the start of the class.  Agitator will provide basic supplies (like acrylic paint, pencils, paper, and other art materials) to work with, but you should bring your preferred supplies specific to your art projects. 

$10-$20 dollar suggested donation for the cost of materials and space. We will also have wine, beer and kombucha.

DIY Creative Makers sessions with process demos and Artist Member-led group support and feedback.

WINTER SCHEDULE / SUNDAYS 1-5pm:

• Feb 2    Mat Cutting & Framing with ANDREA KASPRYK
  Demo:  Bring a mat and backing board (up to 16 x 20 in.), artwork that fits inside mat, and tape. Or these materials can be provided for a $10.00 fee.

• Feb 9   Creative Calligraphy with RAMIN TAKLOO-BIGHASH
  Demo:  calligraphy pens, ink, paper & sampler Alphabets

• Feb 16   Writer’s Workshop with GRETCHEN HASSE
  Demo:  Participants will share works in process for critique / Stay or return later that evening for Agitator’s Writers Reading Series

• Feb 23   Shadow Puppets with WENDY MADRIGAL
  Demo:  silhouette puppets w/ cardboard & bamboo sticks, simple mechanics

• Mar 2   Studio Lighting for Photography with JASON GREENBERG
  Demo:  Bring your camera / we will have studio lights, tripod, backdrops and all the rest for tabletop & portraiture.
