Marching Wolf’s America

A Pop-Up Exhibition, Travelogue & Artist Residency

GALLERY EXHIBITION :: July 13 - 17, 2024

Marcin Wilk, aka Marching Wolf, is a New Orleans-based Polish photographer and traveler. Trained in philosophy and international relations—and interested in history, art and social phenomena—he applies both his education and passions to his photography. He focuses on urban and rural decay, portraits of ordinary people, and landscapes.

Marching Wolf's America is the result of 5 years of walking, hitchhiking and driving through the U.S. and Mexico. During his journey Wilk has explored American history, culture and social phenomena. The central theme of this project is the current condition of society and the country, as well as a reflection on philosophical and cultural principles that built the United States of America.
